1. Questionnaire
We send you a short questionnaire with questions about you (ie name, contact information, etc.) as well as your invitation expectations (ie colors, formality, desired pieces, etc).
When ordering invitations, remember that your quantity should be based on your guest address list and not your guest list. For instance, Mr. and Mrs. Smith would just receive one invitation, not two.

2. Consultation
We explore your ideas, colors, themes and budget to get an idea of what you’re looking for.
Any inspirational materials or examples you provide are very helpful!

We are more than happy to meet with you in person if you are in the Omaha or Baltimore-Washington D.C. area or chat over email or phone. Contact us to schedule a consultation.

3. Comps
Based on your consultation, we provide you with idea compositions of possible invitations. We’ll also go over paper and envelope options. At this time, we’ll provide a cost Estimate that you’ll need to sign. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due before we move forward. We’ll move forward with one idea based on the comps and paper choice.

4. Approve Pricing, Contract + Timeline
You approve the timeline and final price and sign a contract. We’ll also need you to complete the Invitation Wording Request. Then, we begin designing your custom invitation!

5. Invitation + Proof Approval
We’ll send you a total of three sets of proofs of your custom invitation—two rounds that changes can be made to and one final proof before printing begins. Any proofs above these three are billed at $25 each.
After each proof, we revise based on your feedback.
The first two proofs are electronic color PDFs. The final proof is a printed invitation on your selected paper.
Your balance MUST be paid at the final proof. We won’t start printing until the balance is paid. Once you approve the final proof and the remainder of your balance has been paid, your design is sent for printing.
The colors of the printed digital proof will be very close to the final output, but please remember, there can be subtle variations between jobs.
Once you have given final proof approval, you bear final responsibility for the design and typographical elements of your invitations. Quite Like It Design will not bear the costs of reprinting and shipping orders due to any errors you have approved. No refunds will be issued. Crafting perfect invitations is a shared responsibility.

Checking Proofs
Here is a checklist of what to look for when approving proofs:
Are all the stationery items you've ordered included in the proof?
Are the ink, paper and envelope colors correct?
Are all fonts correct?
Is the text spaced properly?
Is the alignment correct?
Double check all dates, names, professional titles, physical addresses, email & web addresses, and telephone numbers and make certain you've included all relevant information.
Double check that there are not abbreviations and that all dates and addresses are spelled out (i.e. Street versus St.)?
Double check spelling & punctuation.
Are any design elements or motifs missing? Please note that all background patterns and borders are printed so if a pattern or border does not appear on your proof, it will not be printed.

Please Note: Once you have given final proof approval as signed on the Final Proof Approval, you bear final responsibility for the design and typographical elements of your invitations. Quite Like It Design will not bear the costs of reprinting and shipping orders due to any errors you have approved that match the final proof. No refunds will be issued for custom products.

6. Printing, Addressing + Shipping
We will print and stuff your invitations to your liking. Outside envelope addressing is NOT included in the contract price (response card address is), unless specifically agreed upon. We can digitally print, hand-write or calligraphy addresses on outer envelopes for an extra fee. Otherwise, after printing and stuffing the invitations, we turn them back over to you to address. The cost of shipping the finished bundled invitations to you is NOT included in the contract price.
If you choose to have us address your invitations, we will send a you a Mailing List Request off of which we will address your invitations. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses if they match your Mailing List.
If we are doing the mailing, you will either need to buy the stamps and get them to us or pay us for the postage, which is not included in the estimate or contract. A $50 handling fee will be charged for us to stamp and mail.
