This is the cutest idea I’ve ever seen.
The groom hired a photographer to capture the moment he proposed and kept it a secret. He then gave the bride the framed photo on their wedding day. Now that’s planning ahead.
Check out their gorgeous wedding here.

We super love this idea for a first anniversary. What a great excuse to put your wedding dress on and eat cake!

A great reception detail that is often overlooked is the place for guests to leave cards. Think about it … the card drop is one of the first things your guests look for when they arrive at your reception. Do you go with a little basket or a ferocious yet adorable card-eating pinata?

We had no expectations going into the National Stationery Show so stumbling across PAPER florist aNeMone was beyond what we imagined. Ever. We’ve seen blinged out bouquets and felt flowers, but wowza….for paper lovers like ourselves, there’s nothing like seeing a paper flower bouquet.

Colorful chairs in lieu of decorations. Why didn’t I think of that?

Simply awesome.

I know there are a lot of Facebook skeptics out there, so just trust me on this … changing your relationship status on Facebook is a big deal. The change shows up on all your friends’ news feeds so you get tons of congratulations or WTFs, depending on the change. That’s why I think it is perfect that Eclectic Images Photography documented the switch. It really is a moment the couple will remember.

Table arrangements too tricky? Try a communal table. This one from Style Me Pretty is so awesome and beautiful.

If you’re going dark brown, you better be going Coffee Liqueúr. It brings a level of elegance no brown has brought before. Pair Coffee Liqueúr with a light nougat for unmatched elegance or a bold deep teal, phlox or bamboo for rich and savory.

Soothing, zen-like cedar is perfect for your eco-conscious outdoor wedding. Let nature inspire your colors by pairing it with other shades of green and a little brown. For fun, throw in some red-orange which will really POP!
